"High School Open House"
이번 3월은 고등학교과 한걸음 더 가까워진 것 같다.
3월 4일에는 고등학교 Open House가 있었다.
고등학교 Open House는, 고등학교 건물도 둘러보고
어떤 수업이 있는지, 수업에서는 무엇을 하는지
알아보는 것이다.
원래는 부모님과 함께 둘러보지만,
나는 지금 이곳에 혼자 있기때문에,
친구와 친구 어머니와 함께 둘러보았다.
제일 처음에는 시청각실에서 시작했다.
시청각실에서는 학교의 역사와,
학교가 중요케 생각하는 핵심 가치를 소개해주었다.
그 다음으로는 과학, 수학, 영어,
Collage and Career, Leadership Team을 소개 받았다.
Open House가 끝나고 나니,
내가 미국에서 8학년 생활을 한지 벌써 7개월이
넘었다는 것을 몸소 실감하게 되었다.
보고 나니, 너무 기대되기도 하지만,
한편으로는 중학교와 많이 다른 것 같아서
조금 무섭기도 했다.
그래도 나는 열심히 내 목표을 향해 달려갈 것이다.
This March seems to be one step closer to high school.
On March 4th, there was a high school Open House.
In High School Open House,
we look around the high school building and learn
what kind of classes and what you do in class.
Originally, we looked around with parents,
but because I’m alone here right now,
I looked around with my friend and my friend's mother.
At first, it started in the auditorium.
In the auditorium, they explained the history of the school,
core values that the school considers important.
Then science, math, English,
Collage and Career, Leadership Team was introduced.
After the Open House is over,
It has already been 7 months since
I was in 8th grade in the US
I came to realize that the time passed by so quick.
After seeing it, I was very excited about it,
but on the one hand,
it seems to be very different from middle school.
I was a little nervous, too.
Still, I will run hard towards my goal.
