E3 Spelling Bee Contest

Again?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Kevin and Stella were in the final round.

My class was over at 5 pm, but Kevin and I did 10 MINUTES more!!!

WHY????

There was no winner yet!

Last time on the final round, it was Kevin and Stella (ME!),
this time again, Kevin and Stella.

My English class had 75 vocabulary words to spell.
BUT! It did not stop here...
we had to MEMORIZE 75 vocabulary words and MEANINGS!!!

O~~M~~~G~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!

First time it was really hard because they were a lot of words,
but later, it became really fun!!!
It was fun because I memorized all the words and meanings,
so I felt very proud and great!

Before I went to sleep, I studied the words one more time and
my mom said I was SLEEP-TALKING the vocabulary words and meanings!
HAHAHAHA~~~

On the day of the contest, I was really nervous because other classes were watching me.
But I still did good until the final round.

Final Round:

Tr. Eunice said, "Stella, the word is shrink."

I spelled the words "shrink" correctly, but... the meaning was wrong~!!
I said, "brush!" But the correct meaning was "become smaller!!!!"

At the end, Kevin Choi spelled "shrink" and said the meaning "to get smaller" correctly!
Congratulations Kevin Choi! Next time, we will compete again~
I will see you soon!!! Hehehe^^

I learned that I need to memorize really correctly and try not to make mistakes.
When I practiced at home, I always got the meaning wrong for "shrink."
But that was the final vocabulary word.

People can make mistakes, but if this is your only ONE CHANCE,
it's a good choice to not make the mistake.
Let's always be ready!

Have a cool summer~~^^

Welcome, Summer 2015!

Summer is here!
Yeah~~
I love summer (except the mosquitoes!!) because I can go to the swimming pool!
Summer is just a fun season!

So, to welcome summer, my family went to Resom Spa Castle in Gyeonggido.
This was our first time there and it was really great!
This place has lots of water slides, humongous swimming pools, saunas, and
wave pool. This place was very clean with many other things to do.

Justin was a little scared at first,
but few hours later, he didn't need his tube.
His favorite was the small water slide.
He loves to swim just like me!

My favorite ride was the Master Blaster.
It was the longest water slide in Resom.
Not only was this fun, it was scary, so it made the ride so fun!

I hope we could visit here ONE more time!

I want to go for 2 nights and 3 days.
I wish everyone can visit and have a COOL~ summer!
