Dear Me國(미국),

 "Four Squares"

오늘은 아침부터 날씨가 너무 안좋았다.

나는 햇빛이 쨍쨍하지는 않지만, 맑은 날을 좋아하는데

오늘은 어둡고, 비도 많이오고, 안개도 끼고 

내가 싫어하는 날씨에 결정체였다.

오늘같은날에 너무 일어나기가 싫었지만

다행히도 무사히 잘일어나서

학교에 갔다. ㅎㅎㅎ

오늘은 정말 신기한 날씨였다.

학교에 가서 첫수업을 할 때부터 비가 많이 오더니

쉬는시간이 되기 5분전에 멈추고

세번째시간부터 다시 비가 오더니, 점심시간에는

갑자기 맑아졌다. 오늘 점심시간에는

오랜만에 하는 Four Squares 를 했다.

여기서 나오는 것처럼 천천히하지는 않았다.

그래서 더 짜릿하고 재미있었던것 같다.

그러더니 내차례가 되자마자

갑자기 마른하늘에 날벼락처럼

갑자기 비가 막 쏟아 졌다. 그래서 내 차례에서

끊겨서 조금 속상하기는 했다.

그래도 비에 많이 젖지 않아서 다행이다.

내일은 맑은 날이였으면 좋겠다.

"Four Squares"

The weather was very bad today in the morning.

I'm not very sunny, but I like sunny days

Dear Me國(미국),

 "가을의 시작을 친구와 함께"

오늘은 친구와 함께 사과를 따러 갔다.

이 친구는 내가 학교에 가서 제일 처음으로 말을 한 친구이다.

친구가 4일전, 화요일에 나에게 스냅챗이 왔다.

혹시 토요일에 시간이 되면 같이 사과농장에

가지 않겠냐고 챗이 왔었다.

그래서 나는 기분이 너무 좋아서 당연히

같이 가자고 답을 했다.

요즘 코로나때문에 실내활동보다는

실외활동이 더 나을 것 같았는데

친구랑하는 실외 활동이니 더 기대가 되었다.

토요일 점심때쯤, 호스트맘께서 농장에 데려다 주셨다.

농장에서 친구와 친구 부모님을 만나서

같이 사과를 따러 들어갔다.

나는 사과의 종류가 그렇게 많은지 몰랐는데, 

종류부터, 쓰임새까지 너무 다양했다.

친구는 제빵을 좋아해서 제빵에 사용되는 사과를 많이따고, 

나는 그냥먹기에 좋은 것을 많이 땄다.

중간중간 사과를 바로 따서 먹으니 더 맛있던 것 같다.

사과를 다 따고 출구쪽에 가니, 호박밭이 있었다.

요즘 가을 느낌이 물씬나는 농작물들이 많이 나오는 것 같았다.

그래서 호박도 따보고, 작고 귀여운 호박도 땄다.

친구랑 함께해서 그런지 너무 재미있고

가을을 시작한다는 느낌이 더 강했던 것 같다.

"Starting Fall, with My Friend"

Today I went to pick apples with my friend.

This is the first friend I ever spoke to when I first went to school.

My friend's snapchat came to me on Tuesday, four days ago.

"If the time is okay on Saturday, 

can we go to the apple farm together?"

Chat came to ask if I would go.

So I feel so good, of course

I replied to go together.

Because of corona these days, rather than indoor activities

I thought outdoor activities would be better

It was an outdoor activity with friends, so I was more excited.

Around lunch on Saturday, my host mom took me to the farm.

Meeting friends and friends parents on the farm

we went in to pick apples together.

I didn't know there were so many types of apples,

From type to use, there was so much variety.

My friend likes baking, so he picks a lot of apples that are used for baking,

I just got a lot of good things to eat.

It seemed more delicious,

when I picked the apples right in the middle and ate them.

When I picked all the apples and went to the exit, there was a pumpkin patch.

There seemed to be a lot of crops with a feeling of autumn these days.

So, I picked pumpkins and picked cute little pumpkins.

It’s so much fun because I’m with a friend

It seems that the feeling of starting autumn was stronger.

"어떻게 같은날에 4명이 생일이지..?"

오늘은 조금 특별한 날이다.

친구 3명과 나와 같이사는 유치원생 동생이

다 같이 생일이였다.

우리반에 있는 친구, Brynn, Rebekah,그리고 David이 생일이였다.

Rebekah하고 David은 쌍둥이여서 

둘이 생일이 같다. (너무 당연한가...??)

그래서 오늘 학교에 가기도 전에

생일축하노래를 부르고

가서도 생일축하노래를 3번이나 더 불렀다.

내가 아는사람 중에 3명이나 생일이 같다는 것은

너무 신기한 일인것 같다.

그래서 집에 와서는 동생 생일파티를 했는데

동생이 피자를 먹고싶다고 해서, 

다같이 피자를 만들었다.

내가 만들어서 더 맛있는 것은 기분 탓이겠지??ㅎㅎㅎ

오늘 되게 신기한 날인것 같다.

다음에도 이런일이 있을지 너무 궁금하다!

Today is a little special day.

A younger brother of a kindergarten who is living with me and 

3 friendswere all birthday.

My classmates, Brynn, Rebekkah, and David were birthdays.

Rebekah and David are twins

They both have the same birthday. (Is it so obvious...??)

So before I go to school today,

I sang a happy birthday song

Even when I went, I sang the Happy Birthday song three more times.

4 people I know have the same birthday

I think it's too strange.

So when I came home, I had a birthday party for brother.

Brother said he wanted to eat pizza,

Everyone made pizza together.

It’s because of the mood that I made it more delicious, right??

I think today is a very strange day.

I am so curious if this will happen next time, too!

 "오옝!! 드디어, 드디어!!"

나는 오늘 드디어 제대로된 발야구를 했다.

내가 그전에 제대로 되지 않은 발야구를 했다는 것이 아니라,

내 실력이 조금 더 늘어서 더 재미있게 했다는 말이다

내가 처음 했을 때는 넘어지구 헛발길질에 

정말 부끄러웠는데

오늘에서야 조금씩 재미가있어졌다.

마지막시간에 시간이 조금 남아서

하루 종일 마스크를 쓰고 있는 우리를 위해서

수학선생님이 밖으로 나가서, 

발야구를 시켜주셨다.

그래서 내가 4번으로 공을 찼는데

처음으로 공이 멀리 나갔다. 

상대팀이 공을 줍고 오는 시간이 조금 오래걸려서

다른 베이스에 있던 친구들이 다 들어왔다!!!!

그래서 나포함 4명이 홈으로 들어왔기 때문에 

4점이나 얻었다!!!!

진짜 너무 뿌듯하고 재미있었다.

Today, I finally played a good kickball.

It’s not that I played bad kickball before(maybe I did...),

It means that my skills have increased a little, making it more fun!

When I first did it, I fell down and kicked in the wrong way.

I was really ashamed

Little by little, it became fun today.

There is little time left in the last hour

For us who wear masks all-day

The math teacher let us go outside,

she let us play kickball.

So I kicked the ball with number 4.

The first time the ball went far away.

It took a little longer for the opposing team to pick up the ball.

All the friends from other bases came in!!!

So 4 people including me came into the home

I got 4 points!!!!

It was really so proud and fun.

 "사과 제철에는 사과파이!"

오늘은 점심을 먹고 난 후, 

호스트맘께서 사과를 사오신 것으로 애플파이를

다 같이 만들어서 먹었다.

지금이 딱 사과 제철이여서 이때 꼭

애플파이를 만들엇 먹는다고 하셨다.

그래도 이때만 만드는 것이 아니라 자주 

만드시기는 하지만, 이때만드는 것이 가장 맛있다고 하셨다.

그래서 오늘은 다 같이 도와서 애플파이를 만들었다.

만드는 사람이 많아서 20분도 안되서 오븐에 들어 갔다.

집에서 내가 베이킹을 좋아하기는 하지만,

애플파이는 처음 만들어 보았다.

오븐에서 나온 애플파이를 잘라서

바닐라 아이스크림과 한께 먹었다.

그냥 그저 그럴것 같았는데 너무 맛있었다!

내가 좋아하는 시나몬향이 같이 들어가있고

무척 단 사과가 들어가 있어서 그런것 같다!

내가 내년에 한국들어가면 꼭 가족한테 해주고 싶다!

"Apple Season, baking Apple Pie!"

Today after lunch,

Host mom bought apples,

so we made apple pie altogether and ate it.

Now is the season for apples, so

she said we would make apple pie and eat it.

But it’s not only this time but often

they make it, but she said that

making it at this time is the most delicious.

So today we all helped together and made an apple pie.

There were many people making it, 

so it went into the oven in less than 20 minutes.

Although I like baking at home,

this is my first making apple pie.

Cut the apple pie from the oven

I ate it with vanilla ice cream.

It just seemed not bad, 

but it was so delicious!

It contains my favorite cinnamon scent,

it seems like it has a very sweet apple in it!

When I enter Korea next year, 

I will definitely want to make it for my family!

"날씨가 왜 이래??!??!"

수요일부터 급격히 추워진 날씨가 

나를 너무 힘들게 했다.

수요일 하루만인줄 알았더니

오늘 금요일도 그렇다.

아니 도대체 날씨가 왜 이러는지 모르겠다.

친구들은 너무 자연스럽게 "또 시작이네.."

이런 표정에 너무 자연스러웠다.

이게 추운게 시원한것이 아니라

정말 초겨울 날씨처럼 최하는 3도까지 떨어졌다.

나 같은 경우는 아침 일찍 산속에서 출발해서 집밖에

나와서 그 몇걸음 안되는 차로 가는 길이 제일 춥다.

그런데 일기예보를 보면 다음주는 또 여름 날씨가 되어버린다.

그래서 겨울옷을 꺼내기도, 가을,여름 옷을 입기도 

너무 애매한 날씨이다. 

그래서 나는 그런 온도차이가 적응이 안되는지

후드티 안에 반팔을 입고 다녔다.

정말 이런 뉴저지 날씨, 빨리 적응해야 겠다.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS WEATHER???!??!"

The weather has been sharply cold from Wednesday.

It made me so hard.

I thought it was only one day on Wednesday,

but Friday either.

I don't know why the weather is like this.

My friends naturally said, "It's starting again.."

They were so natural for this weather.

This is not cool but, COLD.

Like the early winter weather, 

the peak has dropped to 37 degrees Fahrenheit.

In the case of me, I start out in the mountains early in the morning,

it is the coldest way to go out 

and get on the car, that few steps away.

However, if you look at the weather forecast, 

next week will be summer again.

That’s why I take out winter clothes and 

wear autumn and summer clothes, too.

It's too ambiguous.

So I wonder if such a temperature difference can't be adjusted

I wore short sleeves under the hoodie.

I really need to adapt to this New Jersey weather.

 "서부에서 동부까지 가능해요??"

오늘은 날씨가 매우 이상했다.

추운것도 맞지만, 해가 무척 붉었다.

해는 원래 붉은 것이 맞지만, 

오늘은 특히나 하늘은 회색빛인데, 

해는 무척이나 붉었다.

그이유를 물어보니, 캘리포니아에서

산불이 난것이 바람을 타고 내가 있는

뉴져기 까지 영향을 미친 것이다.

조금 말이 안되는 것 같았았는데

담임선생님, 호스트맘, 심지어 뉴스에서도

이 이야기를 하고 있었다.

빨리 캘리포니아에있는 큰 산불이 잠잠해져서

인명피해, 재산피해 등이 적었으면 정말 좋겠다.

The weather was very strange today.

It was cold, but the sun was very red.

 "헉.. 엄청 하이텐션이시다!!!"

목요일, 조금 긴장되지만 기대했던 날이다!

오늘은  International Student Coordinator 이신

Mrs. Dejulia께서 오셨었다.

중학교에는 국제학생이 나밖에 없어서 

나와 Mrs. Dejulia, 둘이서 상담을 했다.

원래는 첫날부터 계셨어야되는데

COVID 19때문에 그렇게는 못하셨다고 했다.

Tr. Eunice께서 이 선생님은 정말 좋은 선생님이시라고 하셔서

기대가 무척 되었는데 그만큼 좋은 선생님이신 것 같다!

너무 친절하게 대해주시고 정말 도움을 주시고 싶어하시는

느낌을 정말 많이 받았다.

그래서 선생님이 말씀하신 것처럼 내가 모르는 것,

불편한 것 그런것은 숨기지 않고 꼭 잘 말씀 드려야 겠다.

학교에 좋은 선생님들이 많아서 다행이다!

Thursday, it's a little nervous, but it's a day I expected!

Today, International Student Coordinator

Mrs. Dejulia had come over to Middle School.

I am the only international students in middle school,

Me and Mrs. Dejulia, we had a talk.

She should have been there from the first day,

but she said she couldn't do that because of COVID 19.

Tr. Eunice said that this teacher is a really good teacher.

I was very excited, I think she is a good teacher!

Who is so kind and really wants to help

I got a lot of good feelings.

So, as the teacher said, what I do not know,

I have to tell to teachers the uncomfortable things, without hiding them.

I am so glad there are so many good teachers at school!

Dear Me國(미국),

 "어! 이거 Tr. Eunice 랑 했던 것인데!!"

수요일에는 글쓰기 수업이 들어 있다.

솔직히 나는 글쓰기 하는 것을 잘하지 못한다.

그래서 글쓰는 것을 완전 좋아 하지는 않는다.

그런데 글쓰기시간에 Tr. Eunice와 했던 것을 배웠다.

내가 한국에서 공부 할때, 영어 글쓰기 숙제에

꼭 사용했어야하는 글 형태이다.

이 형태의 이름은 MLA Format이라고 한다!

이 MLA format은 매우 다양한 용도로 사용 된다고 했다.

그래서 글쓰기 선생님께서 이형태를 잘 알고 있어야

고등학교, 대학교 가서도 쓴다고 했다.

그런데 이것을 배우는 동안 Tr. Eunice와 했던 것이 

생각이 나서 다시 복습하는 기분이 들었다!!

솔직히 처음에 "복습이니까 잘해야한다"라고 

선생님께서 말씀하셨는데

나는 속으로 처음 하는 것인줄 알고,

'전 복습이 아닌데 어떻게하죠ㅠㅠ'

이러고 있었던 내가 조금 부끄러웠다... (*꧆▽꧆*)

다음부터는 무엇이든 할 수있다! 라는 생각을 가지고 

무엇이든지 헤쳐나가야 겠다! (ง'̀-'́)ง

There is a writing class on Wednesday.

Honestly, I am not good at writing.

So I don't really like writing.

But in writing time, Tr. I learned what I did with Eunice.

When I study in Korea, I did my English writing homework,

and this is the form of writing that should use at HW.

The name of this form is called MLA Format!

This MLA format is said to be used for a wide variety of purposes.

So, the writing teacher told us that we must know this form well,

because we have to use it in high school and university, too.

By the way, while learning this,

I thought of it and felt like reviewing it!!

Honestly, in the beginning, 

the Teacher told us, "It's a review, so you should do well"

I thought I'm doing it for the first time,

and inside I was thinking,

'I'm not a review, what should I do?

I was a little embarrassed after I finished doing this... (*꧆▽꧆*)

From next time, I will be thinking of positive thoughts from the first

and start my work!! (ง'̀-' ́)ง

Dear Me國(미국),

"헉! 저기까지 걸어가요????"

화요일은 월요일이 노동절이였기 때문에

한 주의 첫 시작이였다.

화요일부터는 그전주 였던

 

첫째주와는 무척 달랐다.

왜냐하면 우리는 COVID 19 때문에 쉬는시간에는

운동장과 놀이터에서 학교 전체가 노는 것이아니고

반마다 구역을 정해서 쉬는 시간을 갖는 것 이였다.

그래서 첫 주에는 우리가 놀이터, 

배구코트에서 쉬는 시간을 보냈다.

그 다음 주, 화요일에는 우리가 

축구장 반을 우리가 사용해야한다고 했다.

우리반과는 정반대로 떨어져 있어서 조금 속상하기도 했다.

하지만 화요일에는 한 반에 주어진 

축구공, 배구공, 농구공, 럭비공이 도착해서 

생각했던 것 보다 많이 괜찮았다.

코로나 때문에 많은 것이 변화되고 정신 없지만 

나는 잘 적응하는 것 같다!

하지만 코로나가 빨리 끝나서 

원래 생활하던 대로 바뀌었으면 좋겠다.

Because Monday was Labor Day, 

Tuesday was the beginning of the week.

 
From Tuesday, it was very different from the first week.

Due to COVID 19, during our recess,

The whole school isn't playing on the 

same playground and the playground,

it was to set a zone for each class to have recess.

So last week, we had had the playground,

and volleyball court in the recess.

This week, Tuesday,

we have to use half the football field.

I was a little upset because I was a long walk from my class.

But on Tuesday, 

class soccer ball, volleyball, 

basketball and rugby ball arrived

It was much better than I thought.

Because of the COVID 19, a lot has changed and is crazy!

I seem to adapt well!

But I want COVID 19 to ends quickly

I wish it changes to ordinary soon!

Dear Me國(미국),

 "홈스테이에서 보내는 첫 주말!!!"

오늘은 기다리고 기다리던 첫 주말이다!!!

그리고 수영을 할 수 있는 날이다!!

수영은 매일 할 수 있지만 나는 주말에 하려고 기다렸다!!

수영장을 너무 오랜만에 와서 신나기도 하고 

야외수영은 더욱 더 오랜만이여서 너무 신이 났다!

날씨가 너무 좋아서 햇볕에 누워있기도 하고

동생들하고 수영 시합도 했다.

동생들이 내가 너무 빨라서 재미가 없다고 했다ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

그래서 공놀이도 하고 갑자기 수영장에 들어온 개구리를

잡으러 다니기도 했다.

솔직히 한국에서는 이렇게 자연에 있는 

나를 보지는 못했을 것이다.

나도 일주일 정도 있으니까 조금씩 적응이 되고 있는 듯하다!!

아직 벌레는 적응이 되지는 않지만 

잔디에 앉아 있는 것 정도는 가능하다!!

이정도도 나한테는 큰 발전이다!

수영을 다 끝내고 바람이 조금씩 불어서

옆에 있는 스파에 들어가서 동생들, 언니와 함께 수다도 떨었다!!!

내가 처음 경험하는 것들이 너무 많아서 신기하고

두렵기도 했지만 이곳에서 사는 동안

자연과 더 친해지고 싶다!

Today is the first weekend I've been waiting for!!!

And it's a day to swim!!

I can swim every day, but I waited to do it on the weekend!!

It’s been a while since I’ve been to the pool and I’m excited.

It's been a while since outdoor swimming has been so exciting!

The weather is so good that I lied down in the sun,

I also compete swimming with sisters and brother!

They said that I was too fast to have fun hehehe

So I played ball and we were finding 

a frog that came into the pool

Honestly, in Korea, in nature like this

you wouldn't have seen me.

I stayed here about a week, 

so I seem to be getting used to it little by little!!

The bugs aren’t adapting yet,

but sitting on the grass is possible!!

This is also a big improvement for me!

After all swimming, the wind blows little by little

I went into the spa next to the pool and 

chatted with brother and sisters!!!

There are so many things that 

I first experience so it’s amazing.

I am kind of afraid, but while living here

I want to be closer to nature!

"학교에 매일 매일 가고싶을 수가 있다니..."

오늘은 학교의 셋째날이였다.

오늘도 너무 신나서 일어나는 것도 기분 좋게 일어났다.

보통 한국에서는 7시 반에 일어났는데

이곳에서는 6시에 일어나야 한다.

그럼에도 불구하고 너ㅓㅓㅓㅓ무 신이나서 알람이 울리는 그 순간 일어났다.

너무 신난 이유는 학교가 너무 좋아서이기도 하지만,

새로 사귄 친구들과 오늘 하루를 시작할 것이라는 기대감이 더 컷던 것 같다!!!

내 앞자리인 Racheal은 정말 조용하기도 하지만 손재주가 정말 좋다.

그리고 나를 정말 많이 도와주려고 노력한다!

그리고 내 뒷자리인 Kendra 와 Sadie도 잘 도와준다!

Kendra와 Sadie와 함께 말을 하고 있으면 엄청 재미있다!!

그리고 나와는 조금 멀리 떨어져있는 Brynn, Rebekah, Sami, Lily는 

Kendra, Sadie와 정말 친하다. 다들 Pre-K 때부터 같이 다녔다고 했다.

그리고 새로운 친구, 국제학생이 오는 것은 흔하지 않다고 알려줬다.

그래서 내가 와서 정말 기쁘다고 했다!!

친구들이 이런 말을 해주어서 너무 고마웠다.

금요일에 하루 더 가면 3일 연휴가 있다.

친구들을 못 본다는 것은 정말 서운하지만, 

홈스테이집에서 보내는 첫 주말인 만큼 열심히 보내야 겠다!

Today was the third day of school.

I was so excited to wake up today and I woke up pleasantly.

Usually, in Korea, I woke up at 7:30

Here you have to wake up at 6 o'clock.

Nevertheless, I woke up at the moment 

when the alarm went on because I was so excited.

The reason I’m so excited is that I like the school so much,

It seems that the anticipation of starting

the day with my new friends was bigger!!!

Racheal, my front seat, she is really quiet, she is super good at art!!

And she tries to help me a lot!

And my back seats Kendra and Sadie are also very helpful, too!

Talking with Kendra and Sadie is super fun!!

And Brynn, Rebekah, Sami, Lily, who are a little far from me,

they are very close to Kendra and Sadie. 

Everyone said that they have been together since Pre-K.

They also told me that it is not common for new friends 

and international students to come.

So they said they were very happy when they met me!!

I was so grateful that my friends said this.

If you go another day on Friday, there is a three-day weekend.

It’s really sad that I can’t see my friends,

but it's my first weekend at a homestay house, 

so I'll have to work hard!

"기대하던 학교 첫날!!!!"

우와!! 오늘, 2020년 9월 1일!! 내가 너무도 기대했던,

Eastern Christian Middle School 에 처음으로 갔다!!

COVID 19 때문에 조금 특별한 첫날 이였다.

학교 주차장에는 선생님들 차가 있었고, 

학생을 데려다주는 부모님은 학교가 정해준 길을 따라서 

학생만! 내려주는 거였다.

내가 USA Schooling을 하면서도 절대 경험해 보지 못한 것이였다.

조금 특별했던 등교를 마치고, 나는 내 반에 들어 갔다.

당연히 다 처음보는 선생님들, 친구들이였다.

친구들은 내가 온다는 것을 알고 있었는지, 

다들 처음 보았지만, 반갑게 인사해주고, 어색하지 않도록

말도 걸어주고, 도와 주었다.

그리고 무었보다고 선생님이 너무 친절하셔서 많이 떨리지 않았다.

아직 하루밖에 지내보지 않아서, 잘은 모르겠지만,

반 친구들과 선생님들은 엄청 좋은 사람들 같았다!

내일도 너무 기대가 된다!!

미가 6:8

"사람아 주께서 선한 것이 무엇입을 네게 보이셨나니, 

여호와께서 네게 구하시는 것은 오직 정의를 행하며, 

인자를 사랑하며, 겸손하게 네 하나님과 함께 행하는 것이 아니냐"

"The first day of school that I was looking forward to!!!!"

Wow!! Today, September 1st, 2020!! I expected so much,

I went to Eastern Christian Middle School for the first time!!

It was a little special first day because of COVID 19.

There was a car for teachers in the school parking lot,

Parents who pick up students follow the school's

Students only! It was to drop it off.

It was something I had never experienced while attending USA Schooling.

After coming into the school, which was a little special, I entered the class.

Of course, they were all teachers and friends I had never seen before.

I think my friends knew that I was coming,

Everyone saw me for the first time, but they greet me nicely,

They talked and helped.

Also, I wasn't nervous, but the teacher was so kind.

I've only been there for a day, so I'm not sure,

my classmates and teachers are really nice people!

I look forward to tomorrow too!!

Dear Me國(미국),

"아이비리그를 목표로!!"

내가 이번 학교가 시작하기 전에 

동부에 있는 아이비리그 3곳을 다녀왔다!

하버드, 예일, 프린스턴! 

 첫날은 프린스턴 대학교에 다녀왔다. 

프린스턴을 아이비리그 중 첫번째로 다녀왔기 때문에

조금 더 웅장함에 감동을 받았던 것 같다.

3곳 중에는 가장 어리지만, 엄청 고풍스러웠다.

이렇게 돌아다니다 보니, 주황색과 검정색이 기본으로 된

 

학교 마크가 많이 보였다.

주황색과 검정색이라고 하면 호랑이가 가장 먼저 생각나는데,

프린스턴을 대표하는 동물이 호랑이라고 했다!!

 둘쨋날은 하버드 대학교를 돌아보았다.

하버드는 3곳중에서 가장 오래되었다.

두번째로 가서 그런지 프린스턴과 많이 비교를 한것 같았다.

실제로도 정말 오래되기는 했지만 

정말 오래되었다는 느낌을 건물에서 많이 느꼈다.

그리고 가장 유명한 도서관인 와이드너 도서관!

지금은 시기가 그렇게 좋지 못해서 도서관에 들어가 보지는 못했지만,

겉에서 보는만큼, 내부도 웅장할 것이라고 생각한다,

하버드의 상징색은 크림슨 색이라고 한다. 

이 색의 의미는 '진리, 영광, 성취' 라는 

웅장한 느낌에 딱 맞는 것 같다.

마지막 날에는 예일 대학교를 돌아보았다.

예일대학교는 3곳중 2번째로 오래되었다.

그런데 3곳 중에 가장 해리포터 영화에 

나왔어야 될 것 같은 곳이였다!!

예일 대학교를 둘러본 날에는 신입생들이 기숙사로 들어가는 중이였다.

 

이것을 보니, 나도 5년 이따가 내가 본 신입생을 처럼

예일 신입생이 되고 싶었다.

 

예일대학교의 상징색은 '예일 블루'라고 한다.

그리고 상징동물은 불독! 

예일의 상징색이 마음에 들기도 하였고, 

무엇보다도 신입생들이 옮기는 것을 보고 동기부여가 된 것 같다.

그리고 Uncle Lawyer David 께서 졸업하신 곳이여서 

아이비리그 중에서는 예일 대학교가 가장 익숙했던 것 같다!!

나는 Eastern Christian School 에 있는 동안, 최선을 다해서

아이비리그를 목표삼아서 공부하고, 믿음을 지켜나가야 겠다!!

"Aim for the Ivy League!!"

Before I start this school

I went to three Ivy League locations in the East!

Harvard, Yale, Princeton!

 On the first day, I went to Princeton University.

I went to Princeton for the first in the Ivy League.

I think I was impressed by the size of the Campus.

It was the youngest of the three, but it was very old-fashioned. (In a Good Way!)

Looking around like this, orange and black

 

I saw a lot of school marks.

When I say orange and black, I think of a tiger first.

It was said that the animal representing Princeton was a tiger!!

On the second day, I went to Harvard University.

Harvard is the oldest of the three.

Going second, it seemed like I compared a lot with Princeton.

It’s actually really old,

I felt a lot in the building that it was really old.

And the most famous library, the Widener Library!

I haven’t been able to enter the library because the timing is not so good now,

with the COVID 19. 

I think the inside will be as magnificent as it sees from the outside,

Harvard's symbolic color is said to be Crimson.

The meaning of this color is 'Veritas, Glory, Achievement'

It seems to be perfect for a grand feeling.

On the last day, I went to Yale University.

Yale University is the second oldest of the three.

But among the three, the Harry Potter movie

it was a place that seemed to have come out!!

The day I toured Yale University, freshmen were entering the dormitory.

 

Seeing this, I wanted to be a freshman at Yale.

 

The symbol color of Yale University is called 'Yale Blue'.

And the symbolic animal is a Bulldog!

I also liked the symbolic color of Yale,

Most of all, seeing the freshmen moving seems to be motivated.

And this is where Uncle Lawyer David graduated.

Among the Ivy League, Yale University seems to be the most familiar!!

While I was at Eastern Christian School, I tried my best

I have to study with the goal of the Ivy League and keep my faith!!
