My Love to Nepal & China

Last Saturday, April 25th,  everyone was in deep sadness.
Nepal had a 7.5 earthquake and more than 5,500 died. 
This is a really big news, a really sad time for people in Nepal.
I pray that people will be safe.

  As I leave to China this Saturday, I want to remember and send my love to Nepal.
God loves everyone, so He wants people, like me, to love and share with other children.
 This time, when I go to China, it will not be a vacation, but a mission.
Mission is important because it is about loving and sharing.
God can do everything, but He wants us to share and think about others.

Everyone, please pray for me, my IGM Team Genesis, and teachers
as we go to China. I hope I will love from my heart and really thank my parents
and family for everything. 

Please help and pray for Nepal!!!

2015 Family Trip to Jeju Island

From April 11-13, my family went to Jeju Island.
The good thing about this trip was the Kim and Tae Family went together!
It was very exciting because my grandparents went with us.
(Our aunt in Australia wasn't here, so I was very sad...)

We went to many places, but my favorite place was Ice Museum.
Everything was made out of ice, so it was very cool!
I never saw an ice castle, car, or animals before!

My second favorite place was the yacht.
It was also my first time riding a yacht, so I was really excited.
I thought a yacht was a very slow and boring boat, but it wasn't!
It was very fast with lots of snacks to eat!

My next favorite place was Cheonjiyeon Waterfall.
At this place, it had real turtles swimming in the water.
It was very strange because why were the turtles there?!?!
Also, it was the tallest and largest waterfall I have ever seen!
It was amazing~^^

Finally, my fourth favorite place was Eco Land Theme Park.
I thought the train was like Everland train! 
I love to ride trains, so it was a perfect ride for me.
My brother, Justin was really excited because it was his first time
riding a train! He was so happy!!! :)

This was my best Kim and Tae Family trip ever!
I wish we could go again. 
Next time I want to go to BuYeo (grandmother's hometown).
Please, take me there, daddy and mommy!

I love you so much, daddy!

E3 Book Presentation Scholarship Night

Remember I wrote about the book presentation two weeks ago?

Well, the results came out!!!

My English school gave out 24K gold rings to the top winners.

Well~~ guess who is the grand prize winner?

ME!!!

I was really surprised and happy, but my parents were super-duper happy!

My mom and dad always worked hard for me.

They love and support me a lot!

So I'm always thankful, but I wanted to give them a big prize.

E3 Book Presentation was the only way I could give them a big present!

A 24K GOLD RING!

The book presentation was very hard to do, but I did my best!

Why?

For my mom and dad!

It was really, really difficult, but I didn't give up!

I really tried my best.

On the scholarship night, my parents came.

When Tr. Kathy called my name "STELLA KIM"

My mom and I went up to the stage.

I took the gold ring out and put it on her finger.

It was a great feeling! 

Thank you very much God for helping me to win.

Thank you mom and dad for always loving and supporting me.

Thank you E3 teachers for this special day and present.

I want to do it again!!!! ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ 

IGM Genesis First Concert (MUSIC VIDEO!!)

April 5, 2015 was Easter Sunday, a very special day because Jesus is ALIVE!!!
IGM Team Genesis celebrated Easter Sunday together
at Sarang Jaeil church in Gwangju, Gyeonggido.

My team had a first concert!!! 
Thank God for the special day!
We wanted to thank Jesus for His love and sacrifice.
How wonderful is He!
I love You, Jesus!

My team performed "One Way Jesus" and "Happy Day!"
We also sang "Qing Qing Ting" a Chinese Christian song.
Qing Qing Ting means to listen quietly to Jesus's voice.
Jesus is always speaking to us, saying that He loves us.
I really like this song!

My First Book Presentation (VIDEO!!!)

On April 1, 2015, I had my first book presentation at my English school.
I didn't know what a book presentation was because I never heard of it!
I love to read books, but I don't like to write a book report.
So, it was a long and hard time for me.

                                                   


WHY?!?!

First, I had to read the book. 
This was not a problem because I love reading.

Second, I had to write a book report.
Now, this was my biggest problem because I didn't know how to do it.
In my Korean elementary school, I only had to write 2 LINES for my book report.
But in my English school, I had to write 2 PAGES!!!
Also, I had to type it in English, so it took me 2 DAYS to finish it.

I did my best!
But this is NOT the end...

At last, I had to give a presentation about the book.
It had to be fun and creative, so I tried to make a big poster.
I thought it was very pretty.

            


How did I do on my book presentation?
I think I did GOOD because my mom was happy with my presentation.
This was my first book presentation and I really enjoyed it.
I want to do it again!!! :)
