2016 Swimming Competition

Hello, everyone!

Today is the last day of June 2016.
Can you believe it?
I can't. It seems like 2016 is going fast.
Soon it will be 2017.
I wish everyone will live a life full of happiness!
It's really summer now, drink a lot of water and don't argue. Hahaha^^

Few weeks ago, I had a swimming competition in Incheon.
It was for students up to high school. As an elementary students, I was the only student in Buma Elementary School. So it was really important for me to do well.

This time I competed in two categories: crawl and breaststroke.
I really like breaststroke the best, so I came in as 1st place!
Crawl stroke is not bad, but not my favorite. But by God's grace, I won 3rd place!
Crawl stroke isn't my strongest, but God helped me to push through.

I practiced for about a month for this competition. I had couple of injuries, but God gave me the health and courage to overcome difficulties.
As this is my first competition for 2016, I had a great start.
I pray that I continue to be humble and grateful.

My Dad Never Stops Riding

Greetings from Stella Gyurin Kim!

It is very hot these days, I hope everyone is healthy and...

stay cool~ :)

Today, I want to write about my awesome dad.
My dad always works hard for our family and never stops loving us.
I want to dedicate this page to my lovely and handsome dad!

My dad is a cyclist. So, I'm so proud of him because he always does his best for his family. He has been cycling for more than 15 years! He started before I was born!
OMG~ You can see how hard he practiced and how determined he was to be successful. He never gave up cycling for his family.
I really respect him.

So, for the first time I went to the cycling center with my family.
It was really cool because I got to see how and where my dad works.
I was surprised to see different bicycles. I've never seen them before.
Thinking that my dad rides these cool bicycles, it made me really happy!

I want to tell my dad, "Thank you very much for your hard work! Thank you for not giving up! I'm proud of you and I love you very much!"
