KIM-CHI

Happy Thanksgiving...
in U.S.A.!

Today is the day to eat turkey for Americans!
I love to eat turkey~

Here is a picture of Thanksgiving feast!

However, in Korea, it is time to make kim-chi!!!
Every fall or winter season, many Koreans make kim-chi with their family.
Well, last year, my family didn't make kim-chi, so my grandmother gave us kim-chi.
This year, the whole family made kim-chi!

It was really exciting!

The first reason why Koreans make kim-chi in November or December is because of its culture. Kim-chi is our traditional food. It is the most popular food in Korea!
I love to eat kim-chi because my last name is Kim!
Just kidding~ :)

The second reason why kim-chi is made during the cold season is to keep it fresh.
Long time ago, there was no refrigerator, so the only way to store vegetables was to put them underground. This way, Koreans could enjoy fresh and crunchy kim-chi until spring.

Is you family making kim-chi this year?

Please let me know and post a picture of your family if you can!

Stay warm and don't get sick!
God bless you all! <3

My First Christian Musical

Oh~ it's getting chilly, please be warm and healthy.
My family is doing great, and I hope yours is too. :)

I've been to musicals before, but never to a Christian musical. Well, thanks to I.G.M., I had the chance to experience my very first Christian musical. I went with Team Genesis friends and overall, it was such a great experience.

This musical was called "Paul" and the story is about Paul's journey as a missionary and a Christian leader. His real name was Saul, but changed to Paul because after he met Jesus, his life and everything about him completely changed. After that, he became the most famous missionary and built many churches in Europe and Asia. The most important thing about is that he loved Jesus and he dedicated his life for the gospel.

I cried.
And I cried again.

I cried when Jesus appeared to Saul and He changed him forever.
At that moment, I thought that Jesus really loves everyone.
The second time I cried was when Saul, now Paul, preached to the church of Corinthians.
The sacrifice and love that Paul had for the church members were tremendous.

I was very satisfied with this musical and learned a lot about the history of Christianity.
I will do my best to love and serve others like what Paul did.

Hope you have a blessed weekend and stay safe!
God bless you!
