My Global Challenge! Part 1

I am seven years old (American age).

In one week, I will say, "Good-bye!" 
to my lovely mom, dad, and younger brother Justin!

I will go to America to study in an 
American elementary school. 
This school doesn't have ESL classes,
so I will only study with American students.

This is my decision.

I am a little nervous, but it is a great happiness in my life.
English gave me confidence and I will speak and learn English in America. 

I am so excited! :)

BUT my books were NOT there!

I told my mom about Justin and she said,

it was 50% my fault and 50% Justin's fault.

Whew~~~~ I am the older sister, I should be patient.

My brother.

I was so very tired because of my midterm exams,

BUT someone bothered me.

My brother Gyu-Min Justin is sometimes cute, 

sometimes lovely...

BUT sometimes annoying.

I was studying, but my brother asked me to play with him!

One day, I went to school and opened my backpack 

and... 

"O  M  G!!!!!!!!!!"

The results were OUT!

Freestyle swimming... 1st PLACE!

AND

Backstroke swimming... 2nd PLACE!

I was so happy! ^^
I like swimming, so I did my best!
My mom and dad said to have fun, 
so the results were GOOD!

My grandfather was very happy
and my school principal was happy too!

I lived together with my grandfather and grandmother
since I was 4 years old. 

I LOVE MY GRANDFATHER and GRANDMOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Munhawk Stadium...

In Tae-Hwan Park Swimming Pool,
it was swimming competition day.

My big family and my school principal 
came to my swimming competition.

I was very nervous!

My dad said, "Go!" 

I did my best in the swimming pool!

I changed to a different swim center, called Shin Jin.
My mom was happy because it was the swim center
my mom went to when she was in high school! ^^

It was a hot, sunny day.
At the new swim center, 
I became an athlete for the first time.

I love water! I love swimming! 
So it's always very exciting!

"E" gave me a big hug!

I was thinking, “Of course! How did I get here?!?”

My heart was wet with happiness!

“What should I do today?

Should I make a cake OR see a movie?”

I was sitting at the back seat of the car 

and was thinking of E3.

I was so happy, but my mom didn't look good.

She asked, "Do you like it better than me?"

I said, "No mom! Of course! You are better! ^^"

I'm not a baby! I can make my mom feel better!

I was feeling like a fireball!

My head was very hot hot!

My body was on fire!

 

My mom said, "You are sick! You can't go!"

 

But I said, "Please~please~ I want to go!"

 

I opened the door and pushed the elevator button

and waited for my mom.

 

Mom said, "Whew..."

To be a parent...
